Acceptable stay, minor issues present

clean rooms quiet rooms double room overpowering odor automatic dispenser thermostat control
the rooms are clean, very quiet and had a double room. my family of four could walk to many of the places we wanted. tram 28 is a block away, that was very convinient.
the hotel lobby had a automatic fragrance dispenser, the odor is overpowering. i found the air conditioner to be impossible to control from the thermostat, i was sweating all night. also, the elevators smelled like a diaper pail.

Excellent Stay in Central Location

central location helpful staff luggage storage convenient shuttle
I found the location excellent near the rossio metro and train station. It was easy to walk to the castle, waterfront, restaurants and bars. The 24-hour front desk was helpful, and luggage storage was a definite plus. The staff spoke fluent english. They also arranged a shuttle to the airport for my flight home, hassle-free.

I had a twin room . The location proved central to many attractions. The staff seemed consistently helpful.
The coffee machine was not working, so I had to go downstairs. A hotel cook stopped me from using the breakfast machine. He cited safety reasons in a rude way. there was no tissue in the room.

The location was really convenient. I found it easy to get around to different parts of the city, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel staff arranged transportation for me, and I appreciated their help with that.
The room felt quite noisy at times. I could hear a lot of street noise, difficult to relax in the evening. The breakfast selection wasn't very extensive, and I thought the quality of the food could be better.

Excellent Location and Comfortable Stay

The hotel's location was excellent. It was very central and easy to get everywhere by walking or using a short Uber ride. I loved my room. It was compact but comfortable and included a great balcony with a view. The breakfast provided a fabulous selection of items and I definitely recommend it.
I would have appreciated body lotion with the bathroom products.
